Eunice Becker of George was in Sanford Health, Rock Rapids with kidney stones. She is recuperating at home.
Caden Kleinwolterink, 4-year old son of Bob & Sara had tonsils and adenoids removed along with tubes put in his ears on Friday.
Tara Van Otterloo of George, 9-yr. old daughter of Darwin & Wanda had surgery for a serious infection this past week.
Virginia Derby of George has been dismissed from the George Good Samaritan Home to her home.

GRADUATION OPEN HOUSE:
Whitney Myers: Open House in honor of Whitney will be held today from 4:00-6:00 PM at Coffee 101, Main Street, George.
Charissa Hauge: Open House in honor of Charissa will be held today from 4:30-8:00 PM at her home at 2114 S. Mineral Drive, Papillion, NE. 68046. Charissa is the daughter of our former Pastor Dan & Cheryl Hauge.
Kendall Ten Haken: Open House in honor of Kendall will be held on Friday, May 16 from 5:00-7:30 PM at his home at 4176 320th St., Boyden.
Amanda Maurer: Open House in honor of Amanda will be held on Friday, May 16 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Tabernacle Baptist Church in George.
Nicole Mulder: Open House in honor of Nicole will be held on Sunday, May 16 at the Demco Center in Boyden from 4:00-7:00 PM.
Brett Carstensen: Open House in honor of Brett will be held on Saturday, May 24 from 2:00-5:00 PM at GLR New Commons in George.
The Senior Adult Picnic/Potluck will be held at Clarence and Claretta Venenga's residence (308) LaCour Ave.) on Saturday, May 24 beginning at 5:30 PM with a picnic supper followed by indoor and outdoor games and a sing-time. Buns, hamburgers, brats and coffee will be supplied. Bring your potluck dish, lawn chairs and favorite games. There is a sign-up sheet on the bulletin board in the foyer. If you have any questions, please ask Pastor Oryn. (475-3692)
We are going to be sending Care Packages to our soldiers soon. We will be giving you more details next week, along with a list of suggested needs.
Daniel J. Koetters of George will be graduating on May 16 from Northwest Iowa Community College with an Associates Degree in Business Management. There will be an open house at their home, 305 East Ohio Ave, George, after the ceremony at 4:00 PM. Dan is the husband of Joanna Koetters and the father of six children and grandfather of two grandchildren.
Erin Dirks is graduating from South Dakota State University majoring in Family & Consumer Science Education. She is the daughter of Travis & Michele Dirks and the grand daughter of Bud & Dorothy Dirks of George.
